Yes. We are working with accredited partners to offer license renewal and/or graduate credit for successful completion of the program. Specific details will be provided to accepted applicants early in 2026.
Monthly sessions are approximately 60 minutes. We ask that Principals support the 60 minute session for the teacher by finding them coverage each month. These virtual meetings will be during the school day. Additional time may include goal planning, reflection, and practical implementation, and 1 on 1 time with the principal, but everything is designed to integrate with the teacher's current role, not add to their burden.
While consistent participation is key to your growth and the cohort's dynamic, we understand that life happens. Sessions are recorded and distributed to participants.
Yes. The Masterclass is designed specifically for teachers working in faith-based schools where Christ-centered leadership is foundational to the culture and mission.
This program is open to teachers who are registered by a school administrator. It is important that the school leader and the teacher leader have a strong partnership together through this process. After a school leader registers a teacher leader and the Teacher Leader Masterclass processes the registration, an email with next steps and an invoice is sent to the school leader. Once the invoice is paid, the teacher's spot is secured.
Relationships outside the organization are crucial to a leader's success. Teachers will have access to a cohort in a small and large group. Every Teacher Leader that attends will be placed in a small group of 6-8 other high-impact individuals who work in a similar sized school and division around the nation. This small group will be imperative to their accountability for the year of growth. Then, all teachers will have access to each other via an online community network where questions, conversations, and community can be formed.
The Teacher Leader Masterclass is a $1,500 investment per teacher. Travel and lodging for the 3-day kickoff event are not included, giving schools the flexibility to choose accommodations that fit their needs and budget. We will offer discounted hotel block pricing for participants, as well as transportation to and from the conference and hotel while in Des Moines.
Our kickoff event will be held in the heartland of Iowa at Des Moines Christian School.
